Celebrating the very best journalism in the built environment for over 50 years, the International Building Press (IBP) Journalism Awards have become a benchmark for excellence. They are judged by a panel of influential journalists and industry professionals drawn from the built environment. As well as peer recognition for their work, winning journalists will also be awarded £500. The overall winner will be named IBP Journalist of the Year.

The deadline for entries was Friday 12 September. The shortlist was announced on Monday 27 October and the awards ceremony took place on Thursday 27 November 2025 at the Building Centre in London.
