Celebrating the very best journalism in the built environment for over 50 years, the International Building Press (IBP) Journalism Awards have become a benchmark for excellence. They are judged by a panel of influential journalists and industry professionals drawn from the built environment. As well as peer recognition for their work, winning journalists will also be awarded £500. The overall winner will be named IBP Journalist of the Year.

The deadline for entries was Friday 12 September. The shortlist will be announced W/C 27th October and the awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 27 November 2025 at the Building Centre in London.
