Encouraging, championing and developing skill at
the highest level in built environment journalism
and communications

Celebrating the very best journalism and podcasting in the built environment, the International Building Press (IBP) Awards have become a benchmark for excellence. They are judged by a panel of influential journalists and industry experts. As well as peer recognition for their work, journalist and podcast category winners are also awarded a £500 prize.

The 2026 shortlist has now been announced and the awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 3 December 2026 at the Building Centre in London.
